Just wanted to give Courtland www.jigskins.com and Drew a shout out for last week's one off trip into the marshes between Hilton Head and Savannah for Redfish on the fly. Courtland and I had been talking for 4 weeks for a 3 day window into a deep drop Jig and pop trip out of HH. Alas, the fish gods decided that an original 8 to 12 westerly would become a 26/ 35 at 1 pm the chosen day turned the trip into a Redfish in the marshes day.
That being said had a blast with Drew into the skinny waters near Hilton Head. Beaucoup fish up to 12/15# on the fly rod.
Not heavy lifting but still, it all starts in the marsh.......ospreys, eagles, redfish. Only thing I was missing was Shrimp and Grits.........that I had in Savannah that night. Special time, Special place, really.
Checked off a box in the bucket that I'll return to next year.
    Great Time, especially Savannah.
    Thanks Courtland / Drew
