I joined a little over a month ago and most of my interest is the Galveston/Williams party boat threads and rigging sections. I joined after lurking for a few months.

I've been salt water fishing in Texas my whole life.

I recently have done more party boat fishing since I'm not as poor and also started using scopolamine patches (I get really bad motion sickness).

I don't catch a lot, but I'll get weird stuff.

I also have a bit of a shopping addiction.

Remora I caught last June (released)

Bass in a cast net in port Arthur last June (released)

Two out of season red snapper on the same hook, and one more on another last august (vent and released)

I plan on going on a captain John tuna trip at the end of the month.

That remora is cool. I assume you don’t have to worry about getting “sharked” reeling that thing in.

I had my squid barely in the water when they were trying to set the anchor and caught it. I didn't get a good picture of the top, which looked pretty gross like a pruney finger after being in the water too long. No sharks that day 😅

March 27 and 28 as part of my cousins party. Captain john
