Is there any way to get this stuff? Seemed to have great abrasion resistance.

I found Black Dog brand on ebay. 450lb. It's the right stuff but would like to have the next size bigger.

This has been my source for a few years now. You can buy it by the spool or in bulk. Great stuff!!! Read the specs on the cords some are more abrasive resistant than others.

Does yours turn white when the coating comes off? because the uhmwpe in the first post not Kevlar or an alternate.

I use the Black Dog cord, it fades a bit with time just like any other braid

Jig Star have this in #70. It is the genuine red Japanese kevlar/aramid cord used for assist hooks.
