I know I have more than afew enemies or rather buddies of Mont on this site who worship the sheephead in the sky in all his immortal glory...

I am going to be in Puerto Rico on the 26th chartering for tarpon and snook on the rough days and blue marlin and other pelagics when it is doable offshore.

From the reports I have, the tarpon fishery is fantasic...I have reports of running away from snook...That sounds like a problem I will not mind dealing with...Short runs to both the lagoon full of tarpon and snook, or the mile and a half run I was told it was to a little place called Blue Marlin Alley...wtf...over...I am happy where I am guys...

Good luck fishing, i have tarpon fished in puerto rico for many years, the fishing
can be hot. I fished the mangrove behind the airport many times.
San Juan lagoon is loaded with tarpon of all sizes.
Last Feb. i landed 3 fish up to my biggest of around 120lb on a half day charter.

These canals are loaded with bait, and also tarpon.

The immortal sheephead in the sky has lots of supporters, and more good fisherman who were banned for no good reason. You have your opinion and we have ours.
