Ty,
Eastern tackle I haven't a question about. You already cleared that one for me.
Its the store in singapore that I'm wondering about.

Fishhead56 there is a scroll down link on the right colun of the screen that can help you with currency.

As allways the shipping charge is key, however they do use UPS world so I haven't a problem with that.

But still, has anyone actually ordered from them yet?

My bank has tried to protect me:(
Where I have too many purchases from too many places
or to many places. This week I purchase tackle from several places in US, and Fishy shop, Plat, Airline ticket in US , EBaY, ATM , Hotel, in UAE ect..
Reservation for condo in Co.......and place order to shop in Singapore.
Well darn to much action,, and red flag. ..........

I like several items from Eastern Tackle but had to clear the order.
via my Bank...as normal accounts don't do as much international traffic.
I have had this happen before.

Any way some US tackle vendors are missing out on orders from overseas clients when they are not set up to ship out side of US. Ie.. even when importing Aisia tackle a Eruo or other forgien client may wish to order from one source.

It only takes a simply understanding of overseas shipment rules and a commercial invoice and DHL, UPS even US post office will take care of the rest.

Shipping cost outbound from US to overseas may be high but that is part of the deal.

I have no doubt that Eastern Tackle will process my order once my bank
quits protecting me:eek:

They did this to me as well. Its a precaution. Actually I had to call my bank to confirm i was making a large payment internationally.

The cost of shipping makes total sense as I put it in perspective now. My buddy in japan tells me that shipping is tremendous for 1 rod sending it to USA. Its over $100 dollars for shipping only.

We have it good here where we can ship to Japan for relatively cheap. Or the rest of the world in that matter...

Anyhow, hows your saltiga spool?

Kev,

Spool? It wound up being Spools

I have 2 waiting for me in Tx I'll see next week when I fly back
and 2 more on the way here to UAE I should see them in a few days.

I also wound up getting some of that other optional Saltiga Bling....

And now if Penn comes out with a spinner I can believe in at the ICAST

show.. That will create more purchasing hazards for me.:D

Kev.
