Hey everyone,
I'm new to the site - and to Texas really. Just moved down from the Northeast about 2.5 months ago. I've done lots of offshore trips since I was little - and am excited to get a good Texas trip in (went out on the Cpt John in mid-Nov, bad conditions and bad fishing).

Just wondering if anyone else is going on that trip?

The shortest trip targeting tuna here is a 48 hour. Seeing as your in the Galveston arera you might be better advised to look at the Big E out of Freeport.

I want to go on all the boats out of Texas to judge which is best so as to help those in the forum i moderate best choose where they want to go.

I do plan on going on the Big E at some point, hopefully on a 76 hour trip.

I'm from outside of Philadelphia, fished mainly out of the Brielle, NJ area, but also Belmar, Montauk and Mass

I live in NJ, you will enjoy Texas. I work there alot. great food, and fishing
