I cut up the rigging it came with and put a single hook up in the belly, secured with a tie wrap... and a treble stinger behind it off the back... I am not a palomar knot kinda guy, if you tie it right they are effective... if not the knot cuts itself... I used crimps on the ones I rigged... a loop through the big single hook crimped and another loop through the single hook to the treble in the back. also crimped I have not used it yet, tonight I leave on a trip and I am going to float it out there and play splashy splashy on top...

I rigged most of mine. I just followed how they said to do it on the yummee videos so I crimped. If it’s a single book as long as you have a good knot I’m sure you could get away without crimping. I didn’t crimp some of the medium size frenzy to see if they will hold. I plan on cast and retrieve with mine

I am jealous. I guess I need to pick up a crimper.

Test your crimps before you go full tilt... test them hard too... Get some 80 and 100 lb line and crimp and test it over and over again...

If you search back a few years on this topic, I posted
a pic of a really cool rigging technique that works very well.
    It was invented by Hyperman.
I cant find a pic or I'd repost.
Basically a 1/o Ringed single hook buried in the bait behind the slot with a 150# split ring that you attach a 2/o St-66 and let it hang out the bottom thru the slot.
leader attaches to single hook ring thru bait via knot, crimp, etc.
this also does a good job of balancing the bait as you bring it thru the water.

you don't need a crimper, any good terminal knot will do
    palomar, trilene, improved clinch knots...

use some 'rigging floss' to keep that treble tight to the body
    smaller hooks are ideal

You put a tie-wrap around the single hook point?

The tie wrap grabbed the single hook body to keep it from moving around in the flyer... The point is free and clear. There should be a picture too

D-C id say remove the tie and use an elastic band. You only want that hook tight there when casting. With the elastic when the fish strike it breaks the elastic. I’d assume it’d break the zip tie also but it looks like it’s beating up your flyer. I’m no expert tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just tie a fisherman’s knot to a treble and hook one barb to the belly just aft of the hollow void and you will get a pretty solid hook up to strike ratio although the Frenzy is usually only good for one fish like that.
