I have been lovin my Tuna Hunter Poppers in the larger and smaller size as well as Raider Jigs for big yellowfin tuna. I will be throwing tons of them again as I am going 16 days in a couple of weeks. I love throwing artificials at big tuna.

Yes, I believe color matters though many of the poppers seem to have similar colors on the bottom. I am not sure I agree with that thought but that is just me. In jigs, color absolutely matters depending on bait in the water, color of the water, depth of the water, and for some reason I also believe it has something to do with barometric pressure and moon phase. I cannot give proof of the last two but I really believe it. Here on the west coast I have seen real color changes over the last few years. Not sure why but it really makes a big difference.
