The offshore fishing remains about the same. Bluewater is still pushed out further than it normally would be this time of the year. It will not be much longer though, it is starting to show back up. Though the current line is still a good ways out, this is the one that you can see on the internet (cholorophyll) the cleaner water is starting to come from beneath, which has always been there, and the murk layer is starting to wear thin. So, it will not be much longer until we are back into the tuna, dolphin, marlin action like we are use to this time of year. Capt. Bob, Capt. Josh, and myself have been going where the action is and that is snapper, amberjack, and cobia. The snapper and A.J. bite is definitely one of the best I have ever seen. Just can't go wrong fishing for them right now. If you like plenty of catching...this is what to fish for. The cobia are starting to show up but in a couple of more weeks we will be able to specifically target them. The weather has been just as calm as it can be. We've got open dates left in July and August.
