The blanks brought over last night have me excited. I have been a dedicated Seeker man for a long time, but those are the lightest, most well put together blanks I have held. Do you think they will be as tough as they are light?

Thanks TJ. Those are the ones i was talking about and I saw them at my house this weekend. Some of my wadefishing rods weigh more than these babies. I could jig with them all night! Not that I would...probably would start to chunk.

Hey Steve,

Ocean Tackle Int'l is yet to open, but we should start shipping product in first of January.

We'll keep inventory in the D/FW area so convenience in quick shipping is just one of the benefits we'll be offering.

We'll have fully built rods (2 conventional (C) 1 spinner (S), 5 1/2' jigging C, 6' for jigging/bait C, and a 7' spinner S for topwater.

We'll also sell 4 styles of jigs with a multitude of sizes and colors that will include assist hooks, 4 styles of topwater lures (3 hard, 1 soft) in a multitude of colors also with hooks included. These lures will be of the best quality as we've designed them to include many of the features only found on some of the top-of-the-line lures from Asia.

We'll also have our own dyneema (multi-strand spectra) that will have depth color changes every 25 feet to assist you in getting your jig to the fish-holding depth.

Stay tuned as we're very close to launching our catalog.

We'll offer the best in service, in quality and in value for the select items in our product launch!

i am testng a 600 gram rod this weekend that definetly has enough backbone to be both a heavy jig rod and a great chunking rod. it was built by txseadog and is black with blue wraps. we put a 2 speed jigging reel on the rod to test both the rod and the reel. it is a short rod and is extremely lightweight. the outfit has to be taken on another trip in late november for more testing but after that it may be for sale as a used rod at great pricing if your interested....rick
