The Viking Gulfstar out of Tarpon Spring, Fl is planning a 4 day trip to Desoto canyon from Aug 26 and they also plan to fish Green canyon in September.

Here is the report of the last 4 day trip. It seems they didn't locate swordfish or tuna at night, but they caught lots of variety of fish on the trip.

Looks like the hoos and dorado were thick on the weedline. I think those are wreckfish as well. Nice deep drops!

The Gulf Star was one of Tomeney's fleet. I think the size of the Gulf Star is very similar to the Carribean Sea.
