See U.S. corn boom has downside for Gulf

A dead zone in the Gulf offshore Louisiana. It can't be good. I hadn't heard of this particular problem in the Gulf before.

I remember seeing something that because of the heavy rains in Texas the Brazos river actually created a Dead Zone off of the Texas coast
