That's awesome and no way I'm in the water with a shark at the tag end.
BTW, per the manufacturer. These reels aren't supposed to be cranked underwater. You probably already know that. Sealed so they can be submerged. Mine have been soaked just about every trip but their not built to keep water out on the crank.
I'm curious to see after a few weeks what that reel looks like internally. If the manufacturer just claims nonsealed when cranked to avoid possible warranty issues but in fact it is then this would be great news. Neither ZB or VS or Penn have as good a caster or as smoother a reel as the Saltigas.
