daiwa freams anyone try it?

    Just wanted to know if anyone has taken a freams j for a spin and is it a good low budget reel?

    I did buy one,when I pulled it apart to see how good it was and realized it’s a diawa capricorn.
    I put it back together and sold it.Nothing to special about them.

    Think that reel work ok at 6kg drag, although stated max9kg for it. The bail is just too filmsy...just too scary to use it at 9KG drag...

    thanks for the info how come daiwa doesnt make a good low budget quality reel like shimano's sustain and spheros???? I guess ill have to come over to the shimano side...

    I’m slowly starting to swing back to shimano from diawa.
    All the shimano reels seem to be smoother.
    Plus diawa have their share of problems with bearings..re wearing out and rusting

    Yeah thats what im hearing i myself am a daiwa fan but i think im leaning towards shimano.
