I read an online review on these reels in Australia used for catching GTs, very impressive!! They seem to do a very good job for the price! Any 1 tried it? Feedback plz.

that is a surf reel. i would'nt recommend using it for gts or any powerful fish.

Ive got one here in australia.....very high retrieve, nice and smooth, great for casting lures and surf fishing...casts a mile. BUT definetley wouldnt use it for targetting big GTs etc stick to Stellas and Saltigas. I run 20lb mono on one spool and 30lb braid on the other. Good for chasing salmon, smaller trevally and tuna, mackeral etc

I have an old Emblem ZA that must be 7 years old. I bought it when a stella was out of my budget and it has caught about 10 YFT in the typical summer 40-60 pound range. I would consider that its limit and it could break any day on a YFT. I let my friends use it when they fish with me on overnight trips. I would consider the quantum cabos and shimano saragosas/sustain over the emblem.
