JC, Danny and I decided to play with the Spanish Mackerel that recently showed up at Cape Henry. Spanish Macs make for some really fun fishing Water was 77.4 degrees lure of choice was Clark and Drone spoons either with an inline sinker or a #1 planer the lures behind the planers got hit significantly more than the others.

After we got done messing with the Spanish we pulled into Chick’s for dinner. We headed back to Little Creek just before the T-storms hit. The Coast Guard stopped us just outside the Lesner and told us they were warning boaters of the incoming storm. I told them that’s why we are heading home and that I didn’t want to be rude but they were now actually holding us up. They said they would give us an escort all the way back to LC for “our safety” once we got pier side they gave me full safety and sobriety checks. We were good to go... thanks to the CG for the escort!!!

Had some fun with the video footage we shot out there. Put together a little “tongue in cheek” fun video. Enjoy!!!
