Cheri's Crab Ball hors d'oeuvres

    6 oz. shredded crab meat
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
    2 tsp. chopped chives
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

    Blend cream cheese, chives, garlic powder, & salt. Fold in crab meat. Shape into a ball. Roll pecans onto the ball. Serve with fresh veggies, crackers or french bread baguette.
