Just found these Chasebait squid plastics and am playing around with some rigging options.
Guessing it will be a slider on the drop then vertically work it up through the bite zone.. hopefully..
Any of you guys used these or rigged them differently?
    Cheers Pete

    Quick explanation of the rigging:
Took a sharp pointy thing and stuck it up the bait turned the hi tech pointy thing round and used the hook end to pull the stinger assist up through the bait. Since taking the pics I added a solid ring at the top of the assist to connect to the swivel.

First drop and boom. Only a little fella but great scrap on 12lb braid and 10lb leader.

Yeah Kim sure did.. I changed the rigging a bit. Instead of straight onto the 10lb leader I used a short bite leader 30lb about a ft long with sinker on it then attached that to the swivel at bottom of the leader. Sinker was only 30g so was very slow to get down 50m.
Might try larger sinker on the main leader and stick with the short bite leader for the bait.

Interesting looking baits. Don't think I've ever seen anything quite like them.

You've gotta see the action of the wings to believe it. Its gotta be the most realistic action of a squid replica bait out there. There is a you tub video, check it out.
I'm gonna play around some more with rigging, thinking a ledger dropper rig to allow a bigger weight and keep the bait and hooks up off the sea floor.
Will post more pics when I get the next rig done.

They are only available in Australia. I ordered a pack of each color yesterday, anyway, and they were shipped already. Hoping they get to the east coast before my Nantucket fluke trips. Lol

We never get the cool stuff.:)
Or is it one of those " grass is always greener" things?
I can think of a few applications for these baits.

Hi Pete, hoping they work and hold up for more than one fish. Always have to try out the new stuff.

I feel the same all the import tackle always seems better. Wonder if our grass looks green overseas?

Sounds good Kim! We’ll have to wait till they arrive and check out the size.

150 mm or 5.9 inches for those but if they catch on as lures the bigger sizes will follow pretty quick. I would check dhgate.com, the global Chinese Wholesale Market but every time I search for something made out of rubber these rubber sex dolls are included in the items to scroll through and then you get emails on just about every item you scroll past. I figure I will leave that alone and let someone else find them, don't want no more sex doll emails. Showed it to my GF and she was like WTF???
