The lively sardine are rigged A little bit different it’s 2/0 for the belly and 1/0 for the tail this is for the 50 model and the 40 1/0 for the belly and 1 for the tail
All the hooks are ST66 !!!

Thanks everyone, all good info. Sounds like it was just user error as I suspected

not a user error just a wrong size hooks 😉
