we have a 36hr jigging/popping trip booked with capt tomeny out of port fourchon, la, may 30-31. target species will be amberjack and grouper(rig fishing)during the day and YFT at the floaters at night.chunking is also allowed lol. the prices are alittle high but the man consistently puts you on fish. here are a couple of previous trip reports to get you in the mood.

we still need a few people for this trip. there will be 12 people max for this 65 ft boat. his bunk house is located at the dock in front of his boat. it sleeps 15 comfortably and only around 15 bucks each. free ice for your coolers and they clean your catch.

tip will be around 65 dollars which is resonable.

so far we have for this trip:

Brian (kidflex)
toney (toneyc)
scott (bellyups)
fred (gimmedeal)
frank (workin)
george (snappergeorge)
john (grescobia) ?
todd (dirtywhiteboy) ?

if you are interested pm me. i will need a deposit soon to reserve your spot. i understand that the price might be high but i think it'll be worth it. fish comfortable with less anglers.

The louisiana will be better it has more bunk room, cabin and a full walk around with casting off the bow and stern 12 folks should be no problem on this boat.
He told me the same thing on our last trip (I specifically requested this boat) and well you know the rest of the story still a great trip, boat and crew I just didn't like being mislead.
I think the ga crew would be interested
What do you think about pushing it 1 week so we can keep snapper, last trip we had to put back some nice ones.

How long is the boat ride on this trip?

The floaters they fished were 80-100 miles out.

BRET-15 is gonna be too much. 12 is about the limit to be comfortable.

BROKE-this is a typical 36hr trip. couple of hours to get to the rigs and fish all day rig hopping. get to the floaters before dark and drift all night. fish the rigs on the way in. plenty of fishing time.

updated list confirmed:
