Just an update on some bend pics of "budget" jigging rods. All rods are lifting the same 15 pounds of weight. the results speak for themselves.

Doesn't look like a bad rod judging by the bend pics. Can't always tell everything by that though.

I would have been too afraid to do that to the MH 66 trevala

what is the point of this again?

I have seen some trevalas double over and still not break...
That the one good thing I see in them is that they do not break easily.
Look at how close the line has to be tied to the weight to get it off the ground with the trevalas.

I think the reason was to see how the different rods handled the 15#.

Thanks for the post. I can see many differences in these rods. It could help my decision making in the future.

    Thanks for the post.

Yeah, pretty cool. Thanks for putting this together.

I notice one thing about how easily it appears to hold the OTI G3 fully loaded. I can tell you that would me my choice from this line up.

Agreed... the OTI 400g looks great.
What is the "FC monster chocin series"? Where can I find more info on that rod?

heh heh, okay i didnt mean my comment with any dis-concern...

i was just wondering why my collection is so limited... :)
I never though my 6'6" would bend that far with 15lbs either...
