Is there such a thing? Have a chance to buy one and it's blue. Is it a fake? I have only seen gray. Looks like a Stella.

    Thanks

Never seen one in blue, I have two and both are grey bodies. Could be a new version? I would check the shimano site.....

Looks blue but heck who knows. Let me know if you think its real. I tried the shimano site, even overseas without luck.

That certainly looks like the real deal. That looks a lot more like the grey finish on mine, that is a lousy backdrop in the pic.....older stella is a much darker shade of blue....

No problemo! However some will tell you that the gear ratio is an issue. I have used my 18K's for both jigging and popping, I prefer a lower gear for jigging but that does not mean it wont work!!!! What rod are you planning to put this on?

The gear ratio on the 8000F won't be a problem even though it's 5.2:1, look at the line retrieve. It's 36 in per crank, so it should be good for jigging.
