What oil do you guys run in your diesel or gasers?

What grease do you run in your bearings and such..

Mobil 1 syn - Honda and Toyota

Amsoil hd syn 10w-40- 91 cummins 5.9l

Amsoil dominator syn grease - boat and RV

oil change is bout 150.00 bucks in my diesel '... Chit!

Rotella T6 Synthetic in diesel

Mobil 1 in gas engines

I used to run Royal Purple and can really feel the slick and smoothness but they 're really expensive

Grease I just use whatever they sell at OReilly

O'reilly has Rotella on sale San. 1gal for 23.00. I'm gonna pick up 13qts of Syn tomorrow for my next oil change.

Amsoil is awesome but at 12.89 per qt they can have it..

I knew a few dirt trackers and they ran 1/8mile and they ONLY used royal purple

Before I realized 1 of my Honda BF-225s was using oil, I let it get so low the engine kept shutting down due to low oil pressure. When I finally checked it the motor held 4 qts (8 qt capacity) of RP. I'm convinced using RP (vs. conventional oil) saved that engine from a catastrophic failure... & that was >300 hrs ago

I am not a mechanic but a mechanic told me it is so slick it blows/leaks through seals

quit using royal purple in my diesel and problem went away, ,,,, so whatever he said I can correlate

Royal Purple gear oil is amazing, put some in your rear end, you can feel a smoothness on take off

Castrol 10W-30 in matching pair of Y2K Jeep Grand Cherokee's since new. 200,000 miles on one of them, 165,000 miles on the other and both run great. I see no reason to change with those results.

I've heard that before... I also use it in my OB Lower Units & I think it helped my fuel burn...

in the play cars we use renegade oil.. it has zinc which is basically being phased out by most all other oil companies.. rotella use to have zinc not anymore

for daily driver its basically whatever 10w30 but normally its a mix of everythin that goes thru the shop so it has synthetic,regular and different weights. 215k strong on my daily.

for the boat yamaha 4s i use yamalube with 1 oil change a year i just stick to what the dealership uses

for the volvo penta i/0 we use a rotella oil.. idk weight or anything

I drag race a 1970Mach1 that has a full chassis,roll cage ang 33x15x19 tires with a solid roller cam and trans brake and every racer I know uses Valvoline Z1R 10W30.
