Good point. I picked up some m12 impacts for next building season and those batteries would be cool for clipping in to the butt of the rod. If you build it, i will hand you cash.
If you put three m12 6.0Ah in parallel, that will give you an 18Ah supply, four will give you 24Ah, five will give you 30Ah, and so on.

Thanks Kim! That definitely gives me an idea of what fuse size will work. So, I’m sure a 10a would be fine or maybe the 7a that came with the fuse holder.

Benny
I would definitely have a slightly larger backup fuse just incase your bench testing doesn't simulate the load of the reel on start up with a heavy fish on the end.

My battery, are waterproof box are complete.
Total box weight with 45Ah battery is 17lb 11oz not the best for following a fish around a boat but not that heavy either. The weight inside is balanced and the recessed handle is super comfortable so it doesn’t feel like 17lb. Decided a fuse wasn’t necessary as the reels have fuses installed, but still have plenty of room if needed. Box also has enough room inside to store reel cables. Made reel connections to retract for transportation with a rubber cap on the ends
Battery brand is MTech
Box is Pelican vault ammo box
Positive and negative stickers by RCSwag.com
All the extra hardware was purchased on Amazon, rods, wire, and waterproof fittings.

I am going to be using my G300j for Slow Pitch jigging, so I will prob wind up with one of the 17000mah ones so I can move around with it. Also have a small 2.5lb LifePo4 12ah as well. Have not used yet.
Let me know how much time you get with the 17k mah when you get to use it.

It's an exploration, 1st time trying trip on a head boat. 12 people. Can't see realistically trying to get 3 rigs + down 1200-1500', but the wife and I are curious to check out.

I picked up a TR Deep Spathe II to pair with my G300J and 20lb Yozuri. I am only bringing jigs up to 750gms or so. I will be happy with some mahi, Tuna and Snappers (grouper closed now).
Be a nice long day on water with the Mrs trying some crazy shit :)

Fly down to Miami Saturday. We have room for you to stay then fish Sunday :)

We went. Current was horrible. Couldn't touch bottom with a 1000gm jig. Just terrible fishing conditions all day, but a nice day with the Mrs. She caught the 1st fish on boat :)

She needs a hearty rise sjiii 500max soon. Dibs when you're ready 😁

Wow! 2+ pounds of jig and not holding, that’s a day I wish I stood home. I think the HR SE and SG are still available. I don’t think I’ll be selling any of my HR anytime soon.
