I'm on a quest to find a good allround popping/casting rod. The OTI TunaSniper looks very good and are just now at the top of my list.

I live in Europe (Sweden) and I noticed that Alutecnos has a popping rod that looks interesting. Has anyone tested this rod or heard anything about it?

The rod is a 2-piece, 9'6" long (a bit too long), and weighing 470 grams. It's rated 50 lbs with a max casting weight of 200 grams.

I have the 8'6" Tuna Sniper 40/60 custom and its a very good all around rod I don't know if you would want to go much longer as you loose leverage. I have also ordered and is being built for me now a 8'2" Smith custom I would also like to try the Alutecnos as they do make first class gear as well but I think 8' something is the max for me

I found a deal on the Tuna Sniper 40/60, so I've ordered this rod instead.

I agree that at 9'6", the Alutecnos rod is too long for boat fishing. Could be a good shore rod, I guess.
