    Hi.
Any one had much experience with frog braid.
I have a chance to get some 80pnd cheap but I don't know much about it apart from people saying it's good stuff.
Apparently it's 8 ply instead of 4,that's about all I know about it.
The other thing, I'm not sure if I can get 300mt of it on a 18000 sara.

    Thanks.

Cool I'll let you fellers know.
It's one of the most expensive braids going but I have a chance to get some for under $100aus for 300 x 80#.
The only thing I don't like is that it's not color(depth) coded just all in yellow.

there are some that are not. ygk jigman comes in 4 ply and 8 ply. the original varivas avani i believe is 4 or 6 ply (but still the best!). just like the american companies. all started with 4 thread weaving. and as time goes by, increases the number of threads used. now lines have up to 16. who knows how far they can take it. but a good 8 ply line should work just fine.
