I never caught a big dogtooth, but smaller fish don't fight as hard as yft or blacjfin tuna. JMO

Among many Japanese jig fishermen, I regard Mr. Matsutani very highly.
He is one of very few Japanese jig fishermen who prefer treble hooks for jigging big dogtooth tuna. His Hooker jigs are specially designe for dogtooth tuna and are famous around the world.
I might fish with him in Puerto Vallarta this summer for jigging cow.

this is just awesome style of fishing, a frd of mine caught a 72kg dogie jigging as well last year, this is just great!
