Ran out to catch a few fish with the neighbors and on the way to the second stop we had an engine problem. One of the tie bar steering eyes broke off and the slave engine was not steerable. The thickest/strongest line we had on board was a #200 wind on leader so I clipped off a couple feet and tied the steering eye back together.

We were heading back to the barn but it seemed to be working so we decided to just continue fishing and not make any radical high speed course changes. It all worked out, we caught some fish and had a good time with friends.
