Nate, the only problems I see with a tandem jig setup, is that you wouldnt get the normal action of the jig and what if the fish hits the hookless jig??? or worse, if a darn cuda cuts you off, you loose 2 jigs..
I never saw any cedar plugs thrown.. but I did see some success on the swimbaits.. I just wish someone would design a swimbait with a xx strong hook, because a decent sized tuna will straighten out most hooks on production swimbaits..

I agreeabout the swimbaits. I've thought about texas worm rig style, strong hook in the swimbait with a slip sinker ahead of it for weight. You could use a toothpick to pin the sinker the way bass firhermen do. What do you think?

Nate, that ought to work fine.. the problem we had was the wind caused too fast of a drift to get anything down in the yft range.. let us know how it works....
