Sounds good, I would like to join the club and come to some meetings. I have been Tuna fishing for a year now so I still have alot to learn. I might be jumping on the September Tuna Trip if i can get off. I have so far been going on the Capt. John. I am going out on the scat cat this coming saturday night to try it out.
Hey - are we going to have another "BCS 360'ers lunch" anytime?
Sounds good steve, you are more than welcome to ride down with me and my girlfriend if we go, we have a crew cab F-250 so plenty of room for gear.
Hey - what was the name of that rig for catching B-liners? I want to get some of them rigged up for our July 7 trip...
I must drink too much beer. Forgot to give you my e-mail address:[email protected]

Aren't you that rock star I hear so much about?
slow down. Ask for help to solve one problem at a time, scattergun approach will not work
So I just got a spool of jb hollow braid and am about to start learning to loop and splice and make topshots etc. I am planning on forming a loop on my main line so i can change topshots and wind on leaders out quickly. My question is: what happens if I get some sort of tangle up or whatever and have to cut the line above the loop? I cant 't imagine taking the time to splice in another on the water. Should i make a bimini in the hollow braid? Or something else?
I'm also thinking that on my bottom rigs that I will use a very long mono topshot (100ft or so) to help protect my loop, since tangles would be more likely while bottom fishing.
Thanks for your help!
