I'll send report when I come back. Looks to be calm friday am leaving; a little rough on sat but I plan on strapping myself to the rail regardless of wave size I hope to come back $300 richer and a mako in the mix. Wish me luck

Hi everyone,

New to the site. I'm from Boston, but am considering making a trip on the Big E this coming winter. What's happening in terms of tuna in say, January? I've done the PB tuna drill out of New England but am very much looking forward to booking a trip down in the GOM; looks pretty incredible! The bottom fishing opportunities on the rigs look pretty epic as well.

Does anyone know where/when the updated schedule for winter trips is located, or if it just hasn't been finalized yet? I checked the website but don't see any trips.

Anyway, just dropping a line and saying hello; there's clearly a wealth of information here and it'll take me some time to get through it all!

-Willy.

Not trying to discourage you, but if I was flying to a destination to fish from a boat I would pick some of the more calmer months to fish, especially since the Big E runs up to 240miles out.
