Black Hole Jigging Rods are coming.

Long waited Black Hole Jigging rods are coming by March 11, 2010.

-5' & 5'2" 450g conventional rods and spinning rods

-5' & 5'2" 350g conventional rods and spinning rods

-5'4" $ 5'6" 250g conventional rods and spinning rods.

I have confinendt that the rods are among the best after I tested them extensively. It has right action and the strength is unbelievable due to 'new super carbon' materials. I caught a 170 lbs bluefin with 200g Black Hole conventional rod and Greg caught numerous yellowfin tuna upto 140 lbs with 350g Black Hole conventional rod on the recent Royal Star tagging trip,

I doubt anyone can break these rods while fighting fish unless high sticking for long.
The rods come with Fuji reel seats and Fuji guides. The reel seating is reinforced to withstand heavy pressure of big tuna.
I has one year full warranty in case when broken while fishing.

I expect Black Hole popping rods/blanks will arrive by the end of March.

Kil, can you please post the rod and blank weights for these new Black Hole offerings?

What specific type of fuji guides come with the factory wrapped rods?

I can not weigh the rods as I don't have them. They should be around 10 oz - 11 oz. 250g blank is 5 oz and 450g blank is 6 oz.

I was told they use Fuji SIC MNSG guides.

Good news. I can't wait to see the popping rods. I've got a 350g acid wrap on order right now from Paul@JPR, can't wait for that one. So many new rods.....so much fishing to do.

astro..

For promotional period, I sell @$320 for conventional and @340 for spinning for all models. I was going to sell @$300 for conventional, but I had to add $20 due to shipping by air. The price will be increased substantially soon after promotional period.

I promised $280 per rod for field testing and I am going to honor my promise.
If you were among the field test group, tell me you are among the group when ordering. Some sent $300 per rod already and I am going to honer it too.

8'3" is rated to PE8 and 8' is rated to PE10.
They are under 14 oz.

But I am going to review samples first before I ask them for production.
