OTI PE line
Hi all,
I just bought some OTI Braided line. 60 lb rating. Trying to figure it out since the other PE line I bought was Varivas. Is the rating 60 lb on it the max breaking or does it mean it is PE 6 and breaks however at a higher rating. THe Varivas I bought was PE 4 and thinner but states that it breaks at 64lb braid rating. Just trying to figure the line out so I can decide what reeel and how much to put on it. Thanks, Gabe |

Hey Gabe and welcome to 360 Tuna!
Thanks for your purchase of the OTI DepthFinder line! This is 8-strand PE line measured in feet (every color change equals 25 feet) The 60 line's actual breaking strength is 74 lbs! Hope that helps, but post any other questions you may have! |

yes- the breaking comparison of regular ol Power Pro 80# is equivalent to the excellent quality PE6.... Same strength, with a thinner diameter so the PE6 will add more yardage to your reel. AND the capacity to judge how deep you are.
Do it right the first time and get the OTI spectra.
