OTI Blanks: Custom Wrap by JPR Rods!

JPR Rods built these 2 rods for me using OTI's 5 1/2' and 7 1/2' 2-piece blanks!

The spinning rod is the new 50# blank for throwing top water lures.

The conventional, spiral wrapped 300g rod is for my wife Sandi. You can probably tell by the wrap colors she chose!

Paul at JPR Rods was great to work with over the phone and the finished rods look great!

JPR Rods will soon be an O.T.I. dealer in the eastern Pennsylvania, NY/NJ area!

Great looking rods Tom and Paul!! Nice touch with the Acid Wrap on Sandy's rod!

One of my favorite pastimes is visiting Rodbuilding.org and checking out all the custom wraps and all the innovations in rodbuilding! There is some serious stuff going on there. Nothing like having great tackle!

My 50lb popping rod should be ready this week, I decided to go with a monochrome look! All black wraps with very thin silver trim, black seat and gimble, black EVA grips and polished SS Alps guides. Wish I was fishing soon so I could try it out.

Tom, sounds like our rods are going to be very simular, except instead of black I went with Blue to match my JX...

I dont have a date as to when my rod will be ready yet, some of the parts I wanted are not available to the builder yet
