One thing you will really love, if you are like me, is the material and shape of the grips. That is really great stuff.

Russ

If so how much is that?

Just spinner for now, we might make conventional version if there is enough demand for it.

Mark me down for the combo if you decide to make it.

Minnow,

What's length of the rear grip/handle ? I require minimum 15 - 15 1/2 inch, 16 even better.

it's 10 inches.
Just curious why would you need such a long grip on a spinner?

I deep jig with a spinner/conventional and feels comfortable with grips under arm with inches to spare extending. Same with popping it's a personal preference, in fact, all my other rods be it inshore, piers, jetties, and freshwater lakes have longer rear grips accordingly. It just feels the right balance for me and more important, the tunas don't know the difference hehehe. I'll have to hold off on your rod but I'm still excited about it and still very happy with the 5' 6" 600g. Thanks Minnow.

I dropped by O.T.I. headquarters today to see the new finished rods.

Wow! They really look and feel better than I expected.

Hey papio - we're working through test runs with a well known and respected custom rod building company, and if everything goes as planned, we'll offer a "Custom Build" program using the limited quantity of blanks we receive.

We'll know how and when we'll move forward with this new service before the start of the new year.

We realize that there is a niche market of anglers that, like you, want very specific dimensions, components, colors, etc., and also want to have the O.T.I. blank.

Just one more way we realize flexibility with customer input and listening to your customers/dealers/distributors is essential to grow our company!
