I purchased a Smith AMJ 52EX which is short only 5' and really sweet. Everyone I seem to discuss jigging with seems to be going in the short rod direction
By the way, from a sales and marketing perspective. Features and benefits sell but also looks. I like good looking gear and my hats off to you the logo design and attention to detail are great on the rods. My suggestion is to show some load images, that seems to be the number one question when purchasing online...how will it bend |

If your up for a short jig rod DONT get a Lamiglas Tropic Pro 5650.
I brought two and they are just flashed-up 50/80 tuna sticks or cut down trollers more like. Nice pretty parabolic actioned blanks, but oh dear me, when used in earnest the load comes all the way down to the butt, and really lets you know it! No way a purpose designed jigging blank IMO. Add on crap tip ring fitting on both rods and a loose gimbal and an 'oh we are so sorry' from Lamiglas themselves and they are off my list forever. Just a heads-up. |

A few months ago I went fishing out of Venice
W/Capt. Eddie Burger "Cool Dude!" One of the top water plugs we used was the Goanna Cruiser. We ended catching about 13 YFT. About halfway thru the trip I put the lure next to the boat in the water. I noticed that the plug was slowly sinking. I looked at the lure closely and noticed that it had some hairline cracks on it. It still work Great. Thanks, Fonz. |

We noticed few boxes of our poppers were not sprayed with epoxy, thanks to you guys on Captn.Eddie trip that found that out for us.
Now all of our poppers are fully sealed with epoxy. Thanks for the input Fonz. |
