O.T.I. in Sportfishing Magazine!

We'd sent the "big man" at Accurate some of our rods, jigs and DepthFinder line after meeting him at ICAST last year.

He took the tackle with him on a Sportfishing mag. halibut trip in Sitka, Alaska for testing.

They caught a lot of fish and the outfitter and distributors on that trip really liked the line, jigs and the rods!

We got mentioned in the February 2008 issue - page 70 "Sizzling Sitka" - in the piece on fishing Alaska. They briefly talk about the line and placed a pic of a couple of our jigs.

It's our first, but hopefully not the last!

Tom,

I don't know why you care about those folks, when Louis, Fred, and I all like your rods and are buying them like kids at Christmas. What do those Accurate guys know anyway?

Russ

WooHoo! That is great news. Speaking of Sport Fishing Magazine. I always buy the January edition with the boat buyers breakdown list. I ususally get it in the airport, but I haven't flown this month. If one of you guys has the mag and is done with it, save it for me. I can't find it anywhere on the news stands.

Russ,
I don't know how many OTI rods you have, but I've only got 5 and a few for Louis. I think we're some of the OTI faithful but we're probably not keeping them in business. I mean, look at who the principal shareholders are in the outfit. Just the owner's discount must be giving OTI fits. How many do you think Rick has?
My favorite OTI gear is my 'never skunked' OTI ball cap. Was wearing it in Venice when I caught personal best wahoo and YF. I'll be wearing it on Saturday too. That cap wants to see a 180.

Fred
