Thank you very much. Yes, I would like to have one each of the 7.5 blanks. My friend is on a long range trip right now and he may want one or two blanks as well. When are you getting them?

Please add one of the 5.5' blanks too. Thanks.

The butt piece is roughly 33-35" so the tip would be about 60". They have
a 10/64 tip, slow-medium action, however, I didn't measure the butt diameter but would guess it was about .8" to .85" as a Aftco G1 gimbal had just a bit of a gap.

Maybe this will help you. Don't know the tip size or butt size as I didn't build the rod. Also, don't have a scale at home to weigh it.

I do not enjoy fighting large fish on spinning tackle; it's just a personal thing. But, I do enjoy casting lures w/a 2-spd Accurate 665H loaded w/80# spectra + topshot. Most of my offshore rods are one-piece construction and built on either Calstar Graphiter or SuperSeeker blanks. How do you think the 2-pc 7.5 ft 80# blank would work out (and hold up) if made into a conventional casting rod? From the pix, I gather this blank has a butt-over-tip joint.
