Cool Stella Or Accurate

Thinking of buying one of these reels. Anyone have any exsperiece with the Accurate Twin spin. If the sustain 10000 or 20000 ? rod suggestions. I have been using Shimano for years Trinidad to Tiagra, also Steela 1000 for trout. Fishing out of San Diego.

Welcome aboard.

Try a search of the board. There have been lots of opinions posted here about those reels. Fish are fish. Fishermen have their own opinions.

Oh yeah,
I'm trying out my new OTI 7 ft spinning rod next weekend. I'll post a report and pictures.
I opted for the Stella because of second-hand prices. I suggest that you take a closer look at the Saltigas.

Welcome aboard Jerrybarnes 13.

I'm with Deep Sea Gull, the Saltigas are the way to go, unless you like a reel that looks like a christmas tree (stella) or handles like it was designed by a railroad engineer (twin spin).
Check-out the Caranx poping forum and see what a well used Saltiga looks like inside - and who tried to copy it!

Plenty of ideas on this forum about jigging rods.
I've already upset a few of the natives so I'll leave you to decide for yourself.

Thats funny although I dont understand it. I have 3 stellas ...the new japanese 4000, the 10,000HG and the 20,000PG. They are without a doubt the best reels I have had. Very smooth and powerfull drag, good line (braid)capacity and the reel is one of the most used spinning reels worldwide.

I tried the earlier twinspins an i wasnt crazy aboput the amount of tourque but i heard they made changes. In the end you cant really go wrong with either the stellas, twinspins and saltigas. they are all top quality

Can somone please explain the christmas tree deal LOL

Agree with g-man ". In the end you cant really go wrong with either the stellas, twinspins and saltigas. they are all top quality"
Have both Shimano Stella 20000 & Daiwa Saltiga SA-Z5000 - both great reels
"the new Zeebaas ZX3 " seems to be awesome - maybe someday as lottery winner. :-)

no offense to anyone

but idc how great a reel it is or how rich i could ever be i would never drop 1500 on a reel that seems pointless to me when the stella works fine why would you want to sped more $ than you have to idk maybe its just me
