Uncle Russ: you can jig these in any style you wish. I have fished them slow yoyoing for bottom fish and they have worked well. Seeing that it is a japanese jig I am sure its intended use was probably japanese style jerking and reeling method. Both will work.
As for colors, as with any jig different colors will work on different days. Over my experiences popular jig colors that perform consistently are pink and green regardless of jig size/shape in the northeast. It maybe different in other parts of the country where baitfish is a different color. |
