All the rods I've ever owned have either never been damaged or have been damaged by fish (i.e. fish took a fast run and I ended up scraping the tip guide on the boat, jetty, pier, etc and it would cut my line constantly as soon as I hooked a fish from there on).... could not figure out for the life of what it was ![]() |

most the time, it people over stressing the rods
