Jigging question
What is the advantage of a short jig stick in the actual jigging process. I prefer short standup rods for fighting the fish but I just wondered about jigging. Fishing is slow so I thought I'd throw this out.

Etan,
To me the short stick feels like it works the shorter jigs better and the long rods impart more action on the longer jigs. I prefer the shorter rods for fighting fish.
