Yes, it is 8 oz hammered diamond jig with Gamakatsu Siwash hook.
It seems Tony 'fish', well known fisherman from Brooklyn, NY, and myself are popularizing hammered diamond jigs for grouper on the westside of Florida.

I didn't want to miss grouper bites by experimenting many jigs and stayed with proven grouper killers. Yong tried Japanese long jigs, but got only AJ. While I watched him jigging, he fished out of grouper range by cranking off the bottom using Japanese style fast cranking. He eventually got three groupers on the hammered diamond jigs.

I am going to experiment Viking jigs, which we use for cod jigging, as my friend had three groupers including 55 lbs black grouper on a Viking jig on a party boat out of Panama City, Fl years ago.
