Three to four years ago here in australia we had a big push on TV re the banjo minnow.The footage showed that it imitated a live swimming fish.Has anyone ever tried these in deeper water 20-40 foot.I see that they are still available on the market..Or was it all just a big sales hype..

Yes we are using plastic minnows.

That's a joke response!

That statement may have been part of their marketing here in the U.S., but it's similar to a golf club (driver) that is/was advertised here with a big headline reading something to the effect of "So Long It's Not Legal for Tournaments!"
