Wrapping MNSG Guides

I was about to build 2 spinning rods (calstar grafighters). I have 2 sets of the MNSG fuji guides and I see that a lot of people wrap them with the single foot on the bottom (facing the reel). What are the advantages of wrapping them like that?
I am assuming that it keeps the line from hitting the foot too much.

Do you wrap all the guides on the rod like that too or just the first guide?

Thanks for any help!

Yes, just the first guide is reversed. Supposedly because once the line hits that stripper, the coils during casting become smaller and smaller.
