Go to Forum section.
Go to Reviews
Go to Rods and Blanks
Some good info there.

I have read all the post in the review section, while giving lots of info, hasn't quenched my quest for knowledge.

Have been looking at the OTI, but am not too fond of the two piece rod.

Also most the Seeker and Smith rods have a fast taper whereas the OTI has a medium slow taper. What would be the advantages of each?

Of the Three which has the lightest weight blank?

thanks

Smith would be the lightest. PM Ksong for expertise advise, or check with Randy at Anglers Pro Shop...you might even end up with one of his Carpenters...hehehe

While the carpenters are great rods, I can not find any one who sells blanks. Right now carpenter complete rods are out of my budget. The Smith popping blanks are almost out of my budget, but no one meets budgets nowadays.
