My Black Widow rod

Here is my latest rod I bought this old blank at the swap meet for 6.00 dollars i liked the action on it it's a two piece blank and it's a 10' this what i used for this blank i used a split grip with Alps guides and Gray and Black A thread and Madeira for the Black Widow spider pattern taken from Billy's Book i also made a Doc's black widow spider weave Acid wrapped with the first 3 guides double foot and the rest single foot. see what your guys think.

Way Cool - you got a lot more patience than I - how many hours to build?

It took me like 25 hours i am kind of slow a few hour here and there.

surf fishing i would assume. Great looking rod. Nice spiral wrap. I like teh grips alot
