AveT 30 Corrosion Proofing
Alantani
Any recommendations on corrosion proofing an AVET Pro 30 2 speed. I took the screws out on the outside of the reel and coated them with nickle base Never Sieze. Sprayed with Corrosion X. Afraid to go inside, it looks like a watch in there. Al |

al, i actually have a pro 30 in the garage to go through. i'm guessing it's going to be the same as the ex 4/0. the bearings are at greatest risk. never seize should be ok, but i still prefer yamaha engine grease. don't forget the reel seat and rod clamp bolts. and make sure everything is properly torqued down. alan
