I would say the action on this rod could be described as medium fast tip with a semi parabolic backbone. It could be used for casting when distance isnt a major issue or medium duty jigging. It should serve well as a good all around rod. I didnt weigh it but its pretty dang light. At $69 its got to be one of the best deals out there if it holds up which I expect it will being an Ugly Stik. The pull on it was very comfortable as it had some give deep into the blank.

The pic has it maxed out with 21lbs up off the floor(kinda hard to tell due to flash)

They musta' changed their advert. When originally posted they didn't have the qty 3 requirement. Still, at $69 from other sites it's not a bad deal. Thanks for the update.

I just picked up two of the 50-100 conventional for $39.99 at my marina.
I aked if they were priced right and he said he just wanted to move inventory.
They will come in handy when i have friends aboard who destroy your gear.

I didn't see any, they were mixed in with the Torque and Trevalla rods.
