For a rod that length it would have to have super slow action otherwise a 30lb AJ is gonna wear you out. JMO

I own that stick, but have used it strictly for GT fishing. Because of it fast action it would be unsuitable for jigging. You can use it for tuna popping, but I wouldn't the action is too fast, you need more of a medium fast/parabolic action rod to fight tuna IMO.
